We are looking for energetic FOH professionals to join our growing team!
Preference will be given to those immediately available (or with less than one month notice period)
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to the conditions of tables & chairs, and condiments on the table.
- Maintaining service stations for back up.
- Attend customers upon entrance.
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages with high salesmanship spirit.
- Take and serve orders.
- Answer questions.
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
- Clearance of the table to be ready for the new table.
Requirements
- Non restaurant/hotel background won’t be entertained.
- Proven restaurant serving experience.
- Hands-on experience on ordering software like MICROS, POPs, POS
- Basic math skills.
- Attentiveness and patience with customers.
- Attention to cleanliness and safety.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Active listening and effective communication skills.
- Patience and customer-oriented approach.
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
- High school diploma is a plus but not required.
- Most important is flexibility to work in shifts.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: BD200.000 - BD260.000 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
