Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to finalize on design for their project
- Be creative with project designs
- Take requests from workers on each site every day
- Make sure the workers follow the design for each project as per the 2d design
- Managing parts of construction projects.
- Overseeing construction work.
- Undertaking surveys.
- Setting out sites.
- Checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy and ensuring that they are followed correctly.
- Supervising contracted staff.
- Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, and/or timescales.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, local authority employees, architects, and other professionals, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager.
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
- Preparing site reports and logging progress.
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of BSc in engineering
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven work experience
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills
- Proficiency in using collaboration and productivity tools
- Knowledge of project management
Remuneration: NGN 150,000
