•Overseeing and managing the various processes related to the handling, processing, and distribution of fresh produce like fruits and vegetables.
•Coordinating, sorting, cleaning, packaging, quality control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
•Manage day to day operation matters assigned by Operation Manager.
•Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
•Leading a team, training employees, optimizing workflows, and maintaining productivity and efficiency in the department.
•Communication with other departments, problem-solving, and continuous improvement of processes could also be part of responsibilities.
Requirements:
•A high school diploma or equivalent is usually the minimum requirement, fields in food science or food technology could be beneficial.
•Previous experience in food processing, or a related industry, along with supervisory or management experience, could be required.
•Familiarity with food safety regulations, quality control standards, and production processes for fruits and vegetables.
