Role Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new clients by identifying potential leads and converting them into loyal customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager and existing team to align sales strategies and achieve targets.
  • Actively engage with prospects and clients through meetings, phone calls, emails, and networking events.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored logistics solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Prepare and submit competitive proposals and quotes, following up on leads to close deals successfully.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress using our CRM system.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Other Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, focusing on air and ocean freight services.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and business development within the logistics sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-driven, and capable of working under pressure to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • A passion for the logistics industry and the ambition to contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients and attend industry events.
