CNCB (Hong Kong) Investment Co., Ltd. ("CNCB Investment") was incorporated in Hong Kong in 1984. It is the wholly-owned overseas subsidiary of China CITIC Bank Co., Ltd. ("CITIC Bank"). In accordance with the development vision of building up overseas boutique investment banking arm and leveraging on the strength of parent bank, CITIC Bank and its various branches, CNCB Investment actively promotes offshore securities underwriting, corporate finance, and asset management business. With subsidiary companies onshore, CNCB Investment is also vigorously engaged in private equity fund management in onshore China, and provides clients with high-quality cross-border financial services.
Responsibilities
Conduct research work for a wide range of subjects, such as macroeconomics, financial and banking sector competitive environment and strategies, and provide policy and strategy recommendation;
Build and continuously optimize research framework and model, analyze important economic and financial indicators;
Release qualified and influential research reports both internally and externally;
Provide professional advice to internal clients, participate in conferences, forums and investor activities. Requirements
PhD or MBA or University Masters degree in economics and finance related discipline;
A minimum of 8 years’ research experience in macroeconomics or financial market research, capable of collating and analyzing Greater China economic data, tracking interest rate and FX and conduct research;
Solid foundation of econometric statistics, prediction model building and impact analysis is a huge plus;
Proficient in Bloomberg, Wind and other economic and market data resource platforms;
Good communication and analytical skill, self-motivated, good team spirit and able to work under pressure;
Fluent in Mandarin and English, proficient in Chinese writing.
