A merger with Sunbelt Solomon Solutions has opened up opportunities for our business and right now we are looking to hire a full time HR Business Partner to join our team. This Human Resource Business Partner is based out of our office in Coquitlam, BC with the responsibility of supporting approximately 60 employees in both Canada and the U.S. This position reports directly to the VP of HR at Sunbelt Solomon and will require up to 50% travel throughout Canada and the U.S. A portion of the HRBP role will also be responsible for training and development in support of the broader Sunbelt Solomon organization and all its 850 employees. About the Role HRBP Recruiting and onboarding of new team members for the Rental Business Unit Posting job ads; Interviewing; Creating and reviewing employee agreements; Onboarding facilitated through ADP; HR orientation following onboarding Handling investigations Coach managers through employee conflict resolution, advise on policies and processes Employee off-boarding HRIS system owner (ADP Workforce Now) Serve as Canadian liaison for benefits and overall labor practices Key monthly reporting and metrics tracking Balance and review monthly benefit premiums Special projects assigned by the VP of HR Training & Development This portion of the role will have a dotted line reporting structure to the Culture Manager. Create and conduct lean training Develop and implement/oversee training programs to broaden skills across organizations Operations job progression owner Review online training courses and make recommendations based on skill gaps for individual employees or groups. Align training to support the culture and values initiatives Partner with the Outreach Coordinator to visit and develop programs at local technical and high schools About You: Of utmost importance for our team members is an alignment with our values.
