Job Description:

THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the FALL 2023 Semester – Network Administration AEC LEA.80 Daytime (Net-44) November 6, 2023 - January 23, 2024 (Monday to Friday 8:30-14:30).

TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12)
COURSE: 420-E35-AB*
TITLE: PC Workstation
HOURS: 75
SECTION(S): one (1)

N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.

For Computer Science (420) Network Administration AEC

• Bachelor’s or equivalent * degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years appropriate professional/industrial experience PREFERRED
• Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level PREFERRED
• Excellent English communication skills REQUIRED.

• Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems

• In addition to above:

420-E35-AB PC Work Station:

• Windows Client Certification REQUIRED
• Windows Server Certification REQUIRED

Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
